Zuka's Charries--Updated 9/9/09

UPDATE! So Vanny drew Maz as the first part of my commission from her...Maz has a mane btw I just didn't add it to the lineart of colored of him. So here's the pic Vanny did...this is Maz with his mane:

Thing is, he doesn't always have the light blue streaks in his mane or the reverse blue symbol on his right shoulder...only sometimes (it seems fitting for certain poses and themes, but not always). His mane is the same dark brown as his back and the top of his head.

Name: Mazuka
Meaning: Mazuka means 'ghosts' in swahili, Zuka being the singular form 'ghost'
Alias: Zuka, Maz, Ghost, Ghoul
Gender: Male
Age: Adult
Species: Ghost Wolfen (Feral & Were)
Personality: Sarcastic, witty, secluded, defensive, can be charming and kind at times, obnoxious, honest, dependable, cynical, narcissistic, manipulative//persuasive, etc.
Fur: Layered fur; Dark brown on his forehead and down the back of his neck and back to his flanks--also his tailtip is dark brown and his pawpads. Then the rest of his main fur is brown. Face, muzzle, inside of ears, underfur, and bottom of his tail are gray. Legs are gray up to his upperarms/legs. Middle of his chest and upper-abs are light gray as well as his paws.
Eyes: Bright blue, almost icy
Scars: 3; One alongside & under the outside of his left eye, one below his left eye running down his cheek, one above his right eyebrow
Markings: Black tribal marking on his left upperarm/shoulder
Type: He's more of the quick and stealthy type.
Persona: Considering Maz is an actual human (ghost) character I came up with and I decided to wolvenize him, his human (ghost) representation is Jeffrey Donovan.

Species: Fire-Fox (Ask for details)
Personality: My personality--get to know me and you'll know her >:3
Fur: Similar to that of a red fox, orange-red main fur with a white muzzle, tailtip, inside of ears, and underbelly, black 'socks' on the front and back legs, black along the middle of her back to her tailtip, and black-tipped ears. Orange-ish fur turns to a silvery gray in the winter.
Eyes: Light, bright green. Darker green in the winter.
Markings: Black tribal marking on her left upperarm/shoulder and 2 black dots under her eyes toward the outer corner
Other: Has blue fire that engulfs her front paws, can make them burn bigger and hotter at will or can make them burn transparently and also make them lose all heat and ability to burn others. Can hover/walk/fly in air. Also the black marking on her back has a fiery look to it, as do the top of the 'socks' on her front paws. Her tongue is also a mix of light and dark blue. She loves to wear various accessories as well, collars, earrings, bandannas around her neck and on her head, necklaces, earrings, actual leg 'socks'...
Persona: Me of course, she's my fursona! ^^

Personality: He's quite the warrior. He's calm and not intolerant, unless given a reason to be--then he'll be brutal and ruthless. The leader-type, wise and strong--not quick to judge and certainly not the mindless-killing-machine. He merely fights to earn respect or to maintain a strong and fearful image--among other things like hunting and war and threats. A balance of sorts.
Fur: A darker shade of gray. He has a dark purple mane that spikes upward on his forehead and is also streaked with a lighter purple at the top and front...and gets shorter down his back, stopping mid-way along his spine--also has some streaks from his shoulder-blades to the end of the mane.
Eyes: A dark or crimson red with a light 'shine' or gleam through the center.
Markings: Different scars and wounds along his body from different fights.
Other: Has large spines curved toward his head that get smaller down the rest of his spinal cord--5 of them. He has 3 spines curved downward on the back of each forearm below on the elbow and ending at the back of the wrist. 2 more spines curved upward on the back of his hind legs at his heels. And then 3 small spikes on each shoulder. He also has tribal markings beside/below is right eye, on the right side of his neck and on the top of his right forearm.
Persona: Uncertain of who would be his human portrayal as of yet...any suggestions?

Don't be sorry, I'm glad you asked ^^
Well basically a fire-fox is a fire-elemental fox--an ancient species that was thought to have died out centuries ago. (Obviously not, a few remain). So what exactly is a fire fox you ask? A fox of course, but with the ability to manipulate fire. They all have fire in their possession, it's a part of them (For example, Fox's blue fire on her paws). The fire comes in all colors and also is not exclusive to a fire-fox's paws--in fact, a lot of them have fire on their tails or in their mouth or even down their back like a mane. Some even have flame-wings--but that is rare.
Also, there's no way of knowing or choosing what fire you get and where it's placed.
Fox has blue fire on her front paws only, which she can subdue (put out) if she so chooses, or she can make the fire grow violently and use it as a weapon and/or protection. The fire does not burn her, nor go out like simple fires with water or sand or anything--it only goes out if she wills it to, or if the fire-fox dies, the fire burns out. Her fire will also not harm others unless she wants it to.
And lastly, certain fire-foxes have the ability to float/fly. The ones with fire wings of course can fly with them. Fire foxes with paw fire can float. And that's all I can think of right now, if anything else comes to mind I'll add it. If there are any questions or anyone needs something clarified, just ask :3

Well you certainly have my permission to do so, Fox could use some 'relatives'. Keep in mind that your Fox doesn't have to be a red fox, it can be pretty much any fox. Plus, Fox herself isn't really a red fox--She resembles a red fox during the warmer seasons and in the winter her fur fades to a silvery gray and her eyes darken. Fire foxes are quite mysterious and wondrous creatures ^^
