favorite holiday?

hello i love the holidays and i always have to ask ppl i meet what there fav holidays are hope you post btw mine is christmas Very Happy

Well...my favorite season is autumn, so my favorite holdiday might be Halloween. I have a wee little nephew now, so I get to dress up again despite being 16 and take him trick-or-treating. C:
I love dressing up, the one day where you can be something you're not...and get candy, too!
Heehee...Christmas is very serene, I'm pretty fond of it, too. It would be nicer if it actually snowed here, though.

I only like thanksgiving this year because it's on my birthday.

Well...I actually love Thanksgiving the best--or did. So much food and family all in one place. I eat A LOT--despite being a skinny mini. Before I moved to Ohio, Thanksgivings were spent at my aunt's house with at least 40 people and more than enough food. My uncle and I ate the most--tore into like everything. I swear there was a second turkey just for us LOL. Oh and I totally know the sheer amount of mashed potatoes was because of me--they are my favorite.

Since I've moved though, pretty much all holidays have become rather secluded...we don't have family here so it's just us each holiday--there's like 5 or 6 of us. -Sigh-

Even Halloween sucks here--they have this stupid curfew so you can only trick-or-treat from 6pm-8pm and trick-or-treating doesn't always happen ON Halloween...they have a set day for each town to avoid mishaps. What's the fun in that?

Christmas it never snows here either...we don't really get much snow here at all. And it's flat so no sledding and stuff. And Xmas has lost a lot of its 'shine' for me over the years of me leaving childhood and entering adulthood.

I suppose I don't really have a /favorite/ anymore. They all have their perks and downsides.

St. Patrick's Day. I am irish so this holiday is great for me. I am sooo into my irish background that I just love this holiday.
Though I do love Christmas and Holloween as well.

My favorite holiday is La Noche De San Juan, (St. Johns Eve) Many Puerto Ricans celebrate it. There are parades, food, and many parties. The night before, so June 23 at midnight, people travel to a beach or any accessible body of water (ex. river, lake, bathtub) and fall backwards into it seven times. This is done to cleanse the body from sin and give good luck for the following year. Its the only time of the year we invite people over and stay up till midnight just to go in the pool, its so much fun!

My favorite season is Fall, and my favorite holiday is Thanks Giving. I love the food and just how the whole family gets together. It's nice =D ... and I really like stuffing and turkey XD

Wow I have never heard of that holiday Star it sounds amazing! I want to participate it is too. When it comes around I will head to a pool myself.

Still love St. Patrick's Day, Holloween, and Christmas pretty evenly but my favorite season I think is fall. I just love the colors and the smells of the trees and all the things that go on during the fall season.

Well this is kinda hard...

It used to be Christmas because the whole family would get together and open all the presents and then roll around in the rappings at Grandma's house.. dragging ur parenst up and 6 am to open our presents > Very Happy

(we still do that >.> im 13/14 XD)

but... over the years its kind of lost its fun... not because im growing older, but BECUASE Im getting older I am becoming more and more aware of the fighting that goes on in my family.
My Mom and her Brother don't get along and Grandma has decided she isn't going to have Christmas at her house anymore and is just going to stop by o give us our presents at home...
No more Family.
Less presentz fun.

Thanksigiving used to be second but much the same thing happened.

So... Even though Im getting closer to not being able to dress up. Im gona pick Halloween!

4th of July- for me. I love the fireworks- and one time, I heard this lady almost got hit by one. O.o

CHRISTMAS RULES!!!
I know some people don't celebrate, and I am not against you. It's okay, I understand why. ^^
I love getting presents. Oh and last year Santa didn't even WRAP half of the presents- it ruined the surprises. I got a giant piplup pillow, a play food set(I am still playful and young!!), bolt DS, Spore DS(MY FAV!), My family got a new Mac OS X Leopard(The comp. I use now yes yes), A bolt and Wall-E T-shirt, Wall-E Sippy cup(What?), A Pikachu DS stick thing(Styler I think), and.... A small dragon beanie baby!!

And I love the snow.
